I was just commenting to some Norwegian or other ;), after I saw Showalter cracking up, how shocking (and wonderful) it was too see you two smile, you know, real smiles. And I was shocked that I was shocked. And then I thought about how often comedians must not be allowed to laugh, always keeping the straight face, and the sort of bittersweet irony there. And how hard it must be for you to work at always finding that delicate balance that you do of funny and absurd, and you do so so well. And I've seen so many peoples comments on how your random funniness on your blog, or tweeting, or projects, or whatever, it gets them through the day, through a hard time. That's pretty amazing.
